About

So, this is me and my friend's dog (I'm the one with the longer red-dish brown hair if you can't distinguish between us).

My name's Emily as you can probably tell by now, and I was born in England so British by birth, but Vietnamese by blood. I am currently a student going onto University hopefully in September, to do Computer Science.

I started this blog back in April 2013, where I started posting beauty, fashion and lifestyle content up until October 2015 when I had a series of personal events occur and consequently took a large break from blogging. This was predominantly because I wanted to make sure the content I put out was to my liking back then, and it consumed a lot of my time, which was misdirected as I needed to look after myself first and my education rather than pursue something which should have been 2nd priority. Because of my personal circumstances, it made me realise I didn't want to continue posting things which only showed one part of me, which weren't even that interesting or appealing (in retrospect) to me as a person.

I took a large break and from this I realised I missed being able to have my own personal outlet - a comforting space where I should be free to speak as I wish with whoever wanted to listen.
So with this in mind, I decided to kickstart my blog again; while the content will predominantly be about my new crowdfunding campaign for Vietnam which you can find here, it will also feature content much more exciting than previously, which I am enthusiastic to reveal.

From a series of posts which I have suitably and simply named "things I want to talk about: ____" which is of course, about things I want to talk about, another series called "experiences: ____" and cafe/restaurant reviews (because who doesn't love a good, honest recommendation about food places- cheeky plug here you should definitely follow my Pinterest if you want to see many pins about food, fashion, motivational words and more food!!) among many more things.

All in all, I've rambled on a lot but I guess this will be what my blog is, my personal outlet where I ramble.
