It's been a long time coming.
If you're new here, welcome!
If you have been here before, notice anything different?
With new content and a change of heart, I thought it best to start afresh for a cleaner look and finish to my blog.
On my last post in 2015, I spoke about changing the content of blog due to these events making me realise how my online persona was not accurate to the person I was in reality. I spoke about being more honest, and the person I was if you were ever to meet me and thus I didn't want to keep posting content which was the norm to online 'beauty' bloggers.
It's been 3 years since I last spoke to you all and so many things have happened, good and bad of course. As a result of this I'd like to say that I've become more grounded and confident in myself.
I'd like to begin with thanking everyone who used to, or still do follow me despite being absent. Following this, I'd also like to announce a new direction to my blog. If you followed me before, you would know I posted mainly beauty, lifestyle and fashion content (throwback lol) but on my last post I announced becoming more 'realistic' so to say. It's been a while but I have finally decided to start up my blog again.
Being the first post since starting again, I spent a lot of time worrying over what I should write, worrying about if I would overshare or not share enough to interest people. I ended up writing just whatever came to mind, as you can tell by the imperfect language and structure I've used here.
Since I last wrote, I started a JustGiving page a couple of days ago to crowdfund for Vietnam which has been so far, fairly successful. We together have managed to raise a total of ~£340 from just donations online and I am so grateful for this. I have no particular set goal in place which I'd want to meet; I simply want to be able to give back to Vietnam in any way possible, specifically starting small in my parents' city Hai Phong as this was where I had first visited when I went to Vietnam, to meet my grandparents and my mother's side of the family. There's so much to say about this but not enough words or space to tell you all in, so I'm afraid that'll be for another post however for now, you can find the link to my JustGiving page here.
Over these past few years not much but yet ?so much? has happened so there's a lot to catch up on and begin to tell you. I've been to the South of France, the capital of Italy and probably some other places I have forgotten about but things have also been completely uninteresting. Nonetheless, I have a lot to say which will predominantly be about my new crowdfunding campaign for Vietnam, but will also vary onto content such as: things which I think should be said but haven't, along to more lighter subjects such as reviews on a particular food place I have been to (as I am very much a foodie but I didn't think I came across as one before in my previous posts).
This is just a small sneak peek into what's still to come though with much more interesting content (dare I say so myself).
Thank you for taking the time to listen to me.
Wishing you all the best with whoever you are, wherever you are so until next time,
